Spotlight on Soho

At N1 EssilorLuxottica Opticians we’re lucky enough to have stores in some amazing locations in and around London.

N1 EssilorLuxottica Opticians Soho is right in the middle of theatreland, with some of the best bars & restaurants in London. We invited some of our favourite bloggers & influencers to tell us where their hidden gems are in Soho.
Book yourself in for an eye test and get exploring!

@GraceFVictory empowers women through body positivity, showing woman that you can be fabulous whatever your size.
We love her style and that she is a positive ray of sunshine.
Grace gave us the lowdown of where she likes to go after visiting N1 EssilorLuxottica Opticians Soho.

P.S those fabulous specs are Dolce & Gabbana, part of our new range in store today.
“I love WAH for not only their amazing nail art but also for what they give back to the community. They have amazing events to celebrate and empower women and I really appreciate that.”
“Dean St Townhouse is a 5 minute walk from WAH and its my favourite place on the planet to have breakfast. The avocado on toast is literally the most AMAZING thing in the world  – sometimes I take myself there on my days off.”

@HannahLouise stole our hearts with her northern soul & fiery red hair, we may be a little biased but we’ve never seen these Prada two tone glasses look so good, she picked these out at N1 EssilorLuxottica Opticians Soho but they are available in most of our stores.

“I’m a northerner through and through but have lived in London for two years now. One novelty of the city that hasn’t worn off yet is what I like to call ‘posh newsagents’, largely unassuming but stocked full of as many lovely, often hard to come by print magazines as there are chocolate bars. Wardour News on Soho’s Wardour Street is perhaps the most popular and best there is.”

“One of the best things about London is the food. I’m vegan, which can be quite limiting in some parts of the country, but London has an ever growing plethora of vegetarian and vegan restaurants, markets, cafés and pop-ups, for anything from quinoa salads to fake fried chicken. Mildred’s has been serving delicious, wholesome vegetarian and vegan food on Lexington Street in Soho since 1988 and remains one of my favourites.”

@Micky Jo ( AKA Suits to Sweats) is the perfect personal trainer; he doesn’t take ice cream off the menu and his Groove Cycle classes are legendary. As well as being a PT, Micky is a talented Graphic Designer & dad to the cutest dog on Instagram @sukiandthecity. He picked up his new Ray-Ban glasses, with authentic Ray-Ban lenses, and took us for a walk around Soho.

“For the last six months I have been following a vegan diet, so I am always on the lookout for little hidden gems in London that serve vegan friendly treats – especially sweet ones! One of my favourite’s spots is Yorica on Wardour Street in Soho. I love waffles, so when a friend of mine told me that this place sold fro-yo/waffle combos topped with colourful candy and chocolates, and it was all vegan friendly… I was sold! I highly recommend it to anyone that likes a sweet treat (not just for vegans) and the interior and exterior of the store is totally instagrammable (added bonus)”

“I spent four years of my life in London working as a High School Art & Design Teacher, before leaving to work for myself. Now that I am my own boss I can enjoy the luxury of going to art galleries on my own time, and not having to bring 50+ teenagers with me. London has so much choice when it comes to art galleries, and one of my favourites is The Photographers Gallery in Soho. I like to go here, spend some time looking at the exhibitions and then have some me time in the coffee shop below, where I can get out my sketch book and work on some design projects.”
